I received a bill for over $3 Million (seriously)

It's been a hectic week or so, but I'm back on it after a little break.

To say the past week has been eventful would be an understatement, so rather than give you a wall of text, let me just show you:

The good.

Glorious sunshine. It's been one of the best UK summers since Covid, and the amount of time I've spent outdoors has been a huge plus for me.

I've been educated by some smart minds across three webinars and a few live one-to-one conversations.

Kajabi invited me to use their Every Expert software.

The golf. Some amazing play here.

The not so good.

I've fallen a bit behind on getting the courses into the Skool community. It's moving though, and you may have noticed some added content in the classroom. Over the next couple of weeks you'll see the courses getting added and shuffled about. More importantly, things will start to settle in there, and then it's all about building up the members.

I got an email from Amazon telling me my next bill is over 3 million dollars.

Seriously. I have a bill warning set for when my account hits a certain threshold, and it triggered last week. You can imagine my shock when Amazon says my next bill is likely to be in the millions.

Turns out it was a hack of some sort (obviously), and on their end, not mine.

And to top it all off, I've been laid low with a virus of some kind these past few days.

Anyhow, all of this reminded me of a line from Marcus Aurelius:

"You have power over your mind, not outside events. Realise this, and you will find strength."

Stress, sickness, three million dollar charges. None of it was in my control. What was in my control was sitting down and writing this email to you.

Same goes for your dog business. You can't control a quiet week, a cancelled booking or a client who ghosts you. You can control whether you show up, stay visible and keep marketing anyway. The owners who do that are the ones still standing when the noise passes.
